Stunning views but room fell flat
I enjoyed my stay in a Superior Double Room with a Sea View, where the breathtaking vistas of the harbour were absolutely delightful during sunset. The staff were friendly and responsive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my visit. the room itself was rather basic and lacked the charm I had hoped for given the hotel's beautiful location.

My recent stay at the Britannia was excellent. The superior double room with a sea view offered breathtaking vistas of the harbour, enhancing my work trip. The staff were friendly and responsive, efficiently addressing my requests and ensuring that my stay was comfortable. The hotel’s location was also key, providing easy access to local business facilities and stunning coastal views.
The mattress was not very comfortable.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The views of the sloping hills diving into the water were breathtaking, and we loved seeing the fishing boats at sunset. The local wildlife cruises were a hit too. The hotel can host big groups, which was perfect for us. Just a heads up, the breakfast could use a little upgrading to match the overall vibe.

Pleasant Surprise at the Seaside
Our two-night stay exceeded expectations! Despite some noise from the pub below, our room offered a lovely sea view. The staff's friendliness and the delicious breakfast set us up for the day. Don’t miss trying the local coffee! Tip, Parking costs £9.50 for 24 hours.

The location offers stunning views, perfect for enjoying breakfast. A highlight was the incredibly fresh kippers, alongside unlimited tea and toast for breakfast. our experience was marred by a rude staff member, and the room was too warm without proper air conditioning. dining options felt limited, especially on the groupon menu which lacked variety and choices for vegetarians.

Stunning harbor views brought a unique charm to the stay, especially from the superior double room we had that showcased the coastline. Cozy pub atmosphere complemented the historic decor, giving an inviting vibe to unwind after a long day.
The room had a noticeable odor that felt like a mix of old aftershave mixed with stale air, making it less than pleasant to breathe. Unpleasant cramped conditions and a lack of ventilation were compounded by windows that wouldn't open, leading to a stuffy environment. The parking situation is less than ideal, with no designated spots and only paid options available in nearby council lots—definitely a hassle if you’re lugging a lot of gear. the breakfast display lacked coherence, with cutlery not adjacent to food items and bread coming straight from a bag.
